Cook for Kids

Individuals and groups of up to six volunteers cook on site and serve a meal + a snack to the children at the Crisis Nursery. 

We find a fun recipe and provide the food for a meal and a snack. All you need to do is arrive at the scheduled time and cook.  

Please consider making a donation to cover the cost of food here. 

Volunteers must be 12 years of age or older. Volunteers who are 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older.

Time Commitment: 2 – 2.5 hours, including prep and clean-up of both kitchen and dining room.

Three daily shifts available:
Breakfast: 7:00 am – 9:00 am (served at 8:00 am)
Lunch: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm (served at noon)
Dinner: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm (served at 5:00 pm)
