As we enter this season of giving and thanksgiving, many of us are looking forward to quality time with family, friends, and loved ones. But there are many in our community who don’t have supportive relationships to share in the good times or to help out when things get tough. That’s why, for 35 years, the Crisis Nursery has been a trusted resource for families in their time of crisis.
As a mother left the Nursery with her kids recently, she told the Family Advocate how grateful she was to be able to rely on the Nursery when she felt all alone: “Thank you all so much. I do not have family or people I can trust, but I trust you all and your staff.”

Holiday Cards
Double the joy of giving and brighten the life of a child! These adorable holiday cards are the perfect way to wish family, friends, and co-workers well this season, while giving a donation to the Nursery in their honor.

Spread cheer by giving a gift
Holiday Helper
The Holiday Helper program spreads joy to families who visit the Nursery during the winter giving season. Donated gifts are shared with families to help them celebrate the season. Make your shopping easy by using our Amazon wish list to ship pre-selected gifts directly to the Nursery. Gifts will be accepted Monday, November 19 – Monday, December 17.

Serve a meal at the Nursery
Cook for Kids + Creative Snack
Cook for Kids and Creative Snack for Kids are great opportunities for a team of co-workers, friends, family, or a club to spend a couple of hours giving back to their community. Grab a group of up to 6 people and come to the Nursery to cook and serve a meal or snack to the children in our care.

Book Drive through December 31
Stop by the Galleria Edina location location between November 5 and December 31 to purchase a book for the Nursery from our preferred reading list.
Make a mighty impact this fall
Give to the Max Day
Be part of the amazing community that pulls together to support local children and families in need. Join in Give to the Max Day, Minnesota’s largest giving day, to make a big difference in the lives of families who receive life changing support from the Nursery.
