Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery Board Launches Search for Next President and CEO, Engages Ballinger | Leafblad
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – The Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery Board of Directors announced today that it has retained executive search firm Ballinger | Leafblad to lead the search for the organization’s next President and CEO. The search follows the previously announced retirement of Executive Director Mary Pat Lee, effective June 2026, and reflects the Nursery’s commitment to a deliberate, strategic leadership transition.
The Board began preparing for this transition in 2025 and formed a CEO Search Committee led by Rhonda Cox, Board Member and Chair of the Committee. This planning allows the Nursery to conduct a thorough search and engage a broad range of stakeholders.
“The Search Committee is launching a comprehensive and thoughtful process to identify the next President and CEO. Our priority is to secure a leader who embodies our values, strengthens our strategic direction, and positions the organization for long term success,” said Rhonda Cox, Chair of the Search Committee.
The Board invites highly qualified candidates to apply. The search will include broad outreach to leaders across the community and nonprofit sectors to ensure a strong and diverse candidate pool.
