In these challenging
times, our community
meets the challenge
In these challenging economic times, Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery is humbled and grateful that this community has responded generously to the Crisis Nursery’s requests for support. Individual donors, corporations, foundations and
government have allowed the Crisis Nursery to meet its expenses for the first half of its fiscal year.
We recognize that a volatile economy will continue to challenge our fund-raising efforts through the balance of our fiscal year and beyond. We are committed to maintaining the practices of responsible fiscal management and will be vigilant in monitoring our revenue
and expenses. We also realize that economic instability will bring increased stress and hardship to the families we serve. Therefore we will work harder AND smarter during this difficult time to meet the needs of families in our community. Hard times highlight the
importance of the Crisis Nursery’s mission to end child abuse and neglect, and to build strong, healthy families. Together with the
community, we will continue to work tirelessly to insure that every child is safe and that all families have the support they need to
be whole. Thank you for your continued commitment to the Crisis Nursery and this very important work.
